COASTKEY PREMIUM for Suzuki mechanical throttle/shift control system up to 2021 is a complete keyless system with remote START/STOP and remote TRIM/TILT in addition to a wireless kill switch (ECOS). In addition to the Engine Control Box, Harness and Start Panel (which is mounted in clear view at the helm), the system comes with a 5-button wireless remote (FOB). Beyond the benefits of using the Start Panel (described under BASIC below), you can use the FOB to turn on the ignition and start and stop the engine(s) wirelessly. When you have the FOB with you, there is no need to enter a PIN to unlock the panel.

By keeping the FOB on you at all times, the captain is protected by one of the best wireless kill switch (ECOS) systems on the market, which ensures the boat stops should you fall overboard.

With PREMIUM you also have the option to remotely control the up/down tilting of the engine(s). Handy when you arrive at the boat and can stand on the dock to tilt the engine(s) down and then start it before boarding and casting off the mooring lines. This is also useful when launching from a boat trailer.

CoastKey is fitted in place of or in parallel with the existing ignition key, and you can still use the existing kill switch (ECOS) lanyard.

COASTKEY BASIC is the basic version of CoastKey. In addition to the Engine Control Box and Harness, it consists of a Start Panel that is mounted in clear view at the helm. To “unlock”, you simply enter a PIN instead of using an ignition key. The obvious advantage of this solution is that you have keyless access to the boat, and if several people use the boat they all have the same access without needing their own keys. It is easy to change the PIN to restrict access, for example after loaning out the boat.
